Last Words: Au Revoir!

It pains me to say this, but we’ve reached the end of our internships. This can be perceived two ways. You were either having a great time that you don’t want to leave or you are ecstatic that you completed your internship and learned new things to take into your future. I’m going to miss everything about Thrillist especially Neptune the dog who whenever I called, came to me…….you would think I would say “came to me in a joyous manner”, however it was quite the latter. He would just paw his way right past me. Ahhh such good times. My advice that I give for future interns is don’t lose touch with your managers/bosses. Keeping them in your network can prove to be highly beneficial in the future, it’s a small world folks. Another piece of advice I will say is brush up on your coding languages and maybe even learn new ones because I had to and although there were sleepless nights, I prevailed! Don’t forget to have fun and enjoy the experience as well!

I hereby dedicate this song to the end of the beginning.

SEE YOU AGAIN

It’s been a long day without you, my friend
And I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again
We’ve come a long way from where we began
Oh, I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again
When I see you again
(Hey)
Damn, who knew?
All the planes we flew
Good things we’ve been through
That I’ll be standing right here talking to you
‘Bout another path
I know we loved to hit the road and laugh
But something told me that it wouldn’t last
Had to switch up
Look at things different, see the bigger picture
Those were the days
Hard work forever pays
Now I see you in a better place (see you in a better place)
AU REVOIR!
